SECURITY
BIONERA IKE recognizes the importance of the security of your Personal Data and your electronic transactions and takes all necessary measures, using the most modern and advanced methods, to ensure your maximum possible security. All information related to your personal data and your transactions is secure and confidential. The security of BIONERA IKE's online store is achieved with the following methods:
Customer Identification
The codes used for your identification are two: the Login Code (e-mail or username) and the Personal Secret Security Code (password), which each time you enter them give you access to your personal information with absolute security.
You can change your Personal Secret Security Code (password) and your email address as often as you wish. You are the only one who has access to your data through the above codes and you are solely responsible for maintaining its secrecy and concealing it from third parties. In case of loss or leakage, you should notify us immediately, otherwise the BIONERA IKE online store is not responsible for the use of the secret code by an unauthorized person. For security reasons, we recommend that you change your password at regular intervals and avoid using the same and easily traceable codes (e.g. date of birth). We also suggest that you use not only letters and numbers but also symbols when creating a password.
Ensuring the Confidentiality of Your Personal Data Transfer
To ensure the confidentiality of data transfer, we use the SSL-256bit encryption protocol. The system has been certified by Verisign, a company specializing in transaction security.
Automatic Logout
If there is no activity for 20 minutes, automatic logout occurs from the member area of the BIONERA IKE online store.
Controlled Access (firewall)
Access to BIONERA IKE's systems (servers) is controlled by a firewall, which allows the use of specific services by customers/users, while simultaneously prohibiting access to systems and databases with confidential company data and information.
Encryption
The BIONERA IKE system first decrypts the information it receives using the same key (predetermined at the start of your connection to the service) and then processes it. BIONERA IKE's systems send you information following the same encryption process.
Wherever you enter personal data on the site (password, addresses, phone numbers, credit cards, etc.) there is 256-bit SSL encryption.
Encryption is essentially a way of encoding information until it reaches its designated recipient, who can then decode it using the appropriate key. When ordering and if the user/customer has logged in with their username and personal password to the BIONERA IKE online store, all communication between your computer and BIONERA IKE's systems is encrypted using a 256-bit key. That is, every time you send information to the system, your browser first encrypts it using a 256-bit key and then sends it to the system.
The BIONERA IKE system first decrypts the information it receives using the same key (which is predetermined at the start of your connection to the service) and then processes it. The BIONERA IKE systems send you information following the same encryption process.
Confidentiality of Transactions
Maintaining confidentiality is self-evident. The same basic principles that govern physical transactions also apply to e-commerce. All information transmitted by the user/member to BIONERA IKE is confidential and BIONERA IKE has taken all necessary measures to ensure that it is used only to the extent deemed necessary within the framework of the services provided. Some of the measures taken are as follows:
- Only authorized employees have access to your transaction information and only when necessary, e.g., to process your requests.
- BIONERA IKE does not disclose customer and transaction details, unless it has your written authorization or this is required by a court order or decision of another public authority.
- In cases where BIONERA IKE uses third parties to support its systems, it ensures confidentiality.
- Without prejudice to the provisions of the chapter on personal data, you can request any information held about you and its correction in case you can substantiate the existence of an error.
For your own safety, you should also treat all information provided through the service as confidential and secret and not disclose it to third parties.
PRODUCT PURCHASE
"bionera.ge" makes every effort to provide high quality services. Nevertheless, errors in prices and secondary product characteristics cannot be excluded, and it cannot be ensured that there will be no website outages or "human" errors during the update/listing of a product's price. For the safety and effectiveness of your purchases, we invite you, if you find that a product is offered at an unusually low or high price compared to its market value, before proceeding with your order, to contact the Customer Service Department at info@bionera.gr or through the website's email form.
We also recommend that before making purchases from our online store, you visit the frequently asked questions section, where you will find useful information regarding the process and method of purchasing products.
Upon placing your order, you will receive an automated email detailing your order. After the order has been processed by the BIONERA IKE online shopping department, you will receive a second, confirmatory email with the products to be shipped to you, as well as the parcel tracking number, where applicable. At this point, the contract between us is concluded.
During the order process, you may receive a series of automated emails indicating the order's progress. These messages relate to the following cases:
- Order processing: When your order has been received by a partner of our company who checks its correctness.
- Picking status: Your order is in the process of product collection in our warehouse.
- Invoicing: The products of the order have been collected and scheduled for shipment to your location.
- Partially invoiced: Some of the products in your order have not been collected and remain outstanding. You will be delivered the products listed in the email.
- Cancelled: Your order has been cancelled upon your request or due to inability to contact you for confirmation.
Should there be any outstanding issues with your order, a corresponding email will be sent to you. Alternatively, we will contact you at the phone numbers you provided during registration or order placement on our website.
There is no way to disable these notifications, the sending of which is a prerequisite for the proper progress of your order. We urge you to ensure that these emails can reach you and that you retain them throughout our transaction. It is your obligation, in the event that you do not receive the relevant emails, in accordance with the general terms governing our transactions, to inform us without delay. Your products are delivered as soon as possible and in any case within thirty days from the conclusion of the contract. Exceptions apply to products that are not immediately available and are pre-ordered, as well as wholesale/bulk orders, upon consultation.
-
RIGHT OF RETURN
If you changed your mind/regretted it, you can return a product within 14 days from the date of receipt, provided that its packaging has not been opened and unsealed, and we will refund the price, after written (by sending an email to info@bionera.gr or orders@bionera.gr) or telephone communication (call center: 210 xxxxxxx).
If you order a batch of products, the deadline starts from the moment you receive the last product or upon delivery of the product in the case of periodic supplies.
Upon exercising the right of withdrawal, you are obliged to return the product fully sealed and in the exact perfect condition you received it, and to provide us with clear and indisputable evidence that you have safely sent it within 14 calendar days from the exercise of the right of withdrawal.
Specifically, the returned good must be unused, in perfect condition, exactly as it was before its sale, in its complete original packaging (box, nylon, foam, etc.) which must not show any damage/alteration, and with all the contents of the original packaging (instruction manuals, features, etc.).
The consumer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. We are not liable and will not compensate a consumer, nor will the withdrawal be effective, if the goods have been damaged due to the consumer's fault or in case of use exceeding what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
In any case, the products you wish to return must be accompanied by the necessary legal documents and receipts.
In the event that the product you return to us is unsealed, used, or shows signs of use or damage, BIONERA IKE is not obliged to accept the withdrawal or refund the original value of the product.
The shipping costs for returning the product are not covered by BIONERA IKE and are borne by the consumer if the product does not have any defect or in cases where the return is not due to the fault of the store. The money refunded by BIONERA IKE does not include initial shipping costs to you if they exceed the cost of a universal postal service.
You are not entitled to withdrawal in the cases of Article 3ib of Law 2251/94 and in any other case where this is provided by law or the present in accordance with the law.
By way of example, you are not entitled to exercise the right of withdrawal for products that have been unsealed after delivery, if the performance began with the consumer's prior express consent and their acknowledgment that they thus lose their right of withdrawal.
For orders for which an invoice has been issued, the option of return due to withdrawal is not available.
Every purchase made with an invoice constitutes a contract between two parties, the object of which is the acquisition of products intended for professional and not personal use. Given that the seller has sent the correct product, which does not have any manufacturing defects, the contract does not give the buyer the right of withdrawal. The above is derived from article 1a, par. 1 of Law 2251/1994 on consumer protection.
If the product is damaged or does not correspond to the description's characteristics, the consumer has the option of returning the item.
Within the framework of the withdrawal process, the refund to the consumer is made exclusively electronically. Specifically, the consumer can request the refund to be completed to the credit/debit card used for the transaction or to a bank account that they will indicate to us. The aforementioned procedure also applies to orders paid via Cash on Delivery and purchases made in the physical store.
-
ORDER CANCELLATION
Without limiting the provisions on Withdrawal in Article 9, order cancellation can be made in the following cases:
- Before the order is completed, during the electronic ordering process, you can go "back" and remove product quantities from your cart by clicking the "remove" button.
- If the electronic order has been completed but the product has not yet been shipped, you can send an email to info@bionera.gr and one of our associates will take care of canceling your order.
- After receiving the product, send an email to info@bionera.gr, explaining the reason why you wish to cancel the order. One of our associates will serve you immediately and inform you of all your options.
